Beauty of San Ildefonso

Image
San Ildefonso was a former rancheria of Bantay before it became a municipality, but because of its size it was annexed to Sto. Domingo as a barrio. In 1921, Assembly man (and future president) Elpidio Quirino worked to convert San Ildefonso into a municipality again, two of it’s main attraction  is the Church and Acacia Tree.  The present church was built and constructed in 1773 and was completed in 1783. It is an example of early renaissance Architecture.     The church is famous for its beautiful “retablos” (altars) and 14 ‘Via Crusis’ of Station of the Cross curved in bass relief of wood and other antiques.  The Acacia Tree also known as the Raintree or monkeypod tree, is an introduced species from Central and south America. The acacia tree is alleged one of the Oldest trees in the municipality of San Ildefonso, more than five decades still stand strong.   This amazing old and big tree is truly remarkable site especially to the visitor...

2nd Quarter Reflection

Image
Second Quarter Reflection   a. What I Learned: This past few months, I've gotten much better at understanding what people really want when they ask me to write something. I can now figure out the main point of their requests more easily. I've also learned a lot about different ways of writing, like how to write essays, social media posts, and more. This means I can help people with all sorts of writing tasks. Plus, I've become better at giving helpful and kind responses when people need support.   https://share.google/ulteXkQEKtQvlU0P b. What Was Hard: Sometimes, it was hard to know exactly what people meant when they asked me something. Their questions weren't always clear, so it was tough to give the right answer at first. Another challenge was being creative while still following all the rules for different types of writing. I wanted to make things interesting, but I also had to make sure they fit the format.   https://share.google/4mTYZiJECv3...

Climate Change and the Resiliency

Image
The Philippines, an archipelago in Southeast Asia, is renowned for its stunning landscapes and the warmth of its people. However, this beautiful nation is also one of the most vulnerable to the impacts of climate change. Sudden and progressive environmental changes are increasingly affecting the lives and living conditions of many Filipinos. Understanding the predominant reasons behind these changes is crucial for building resilience and ensuring a sustainable future.   https://share.google/images/XUFXGtAOaPOa8NQzZ One of the primary drivers of environmental change in the Philippines is its geographical location. Situated along the Pacific Ring of Fire and the typhoon belt, the country is highly susceptible to natural disasters such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and typhoons. Climate change exacerbates these vulnerabilities, leading to more intense and frequent typhoons, rising sea levels, and increased flooding. These events displace communities, destroy infrastr...
